BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Dave Flores - Chair is an insurance broker and the owner of Richey and Associates, Inc.  Originally from New Mexico, he moved to Oregon to attend the University of Oregon.

Edward Tedrick - Treasurer is a licensed attorney in both Ohio and Oregon, and has been practicing law for over twenty years.

Janice Dresser  - Secretary graduated cum laude from the University of Oregon, receiving the History Department’s Faculty Prize for Distinction in Undergraduate Study.  A former flight attendant, she is currently the Community Reporter for the Springfield News and Volunteer Coordinator for the Springfield Museum.

David Boyer, M.Ed.  is currently a working partner of Seeds of Change Counseling Services where he serves as a Marriage and Family Therapist.

Jack Dresser, Ph.D. is a research scientist with Oregon Research Institute where he conducts NIH-funded multi-state research on compliance with alcohol service laws and fetal alcohol exposure prevention. Dr. Dresser is carrying on a long tradition of Prevention and Recovery Northwest board membership by ORI research scientists.

Susan Diamond is the newspaper and education coordinator for the Register Guard.  She currently serves on several boards of directors including United Way of Lane County.

April Givens currently works as a Product Analyst for Summit Information Systems. 

Wesley Wheeler, CPA is a CPA and partner in  Mittleider & Wheeler, LLC.  He has taught at the college level and is a featured speaker at seminars.

Dale DeShaw is a former PARNW board member who has returned to serve on our Resource Council.  Dale works as a financial advisor, and enjoys actively participating in the sports activities of his children.

Mary Ann Hosler, Ph.D. is one of the co-founders of Prevention and Recovery Northwest.  Mary Ann has been instrumental in starting a number of organizations.  She remains very involved in the community and is currently a citizen member of the Lane County Budget Committee.
